As an artist, Parker obviously can convey his innards, but it certainly isn’t as effortless as it may seem on the surface. Parker’s previous albums speak to his thoughtful spirit and common theme(s), which seems to be introversion, shy restrictedness, and the inner battle that comes with expressing his emotions clearly.
Innerspeaker (2010) and Lonerism (2012) quickly brought this artistic rock group the mass attention they deserved, and their ability to incorporate a diverse array of genres into their sound gave them an almost avant-garde status when the latter LP went public. Tame Impala‘s front man, Kevin Parker, has led the Australian psychedelic rock band to global fame with obsessive prowess and a back-to-back barrage of great records.
